So sorry for your loss. I am Ted's mailman and have been on vacation and just heard today of his passing. I was truly fortunate to have met Ted and got to know him as a very generous man and someone who was always helping others. I enjoyed exchanging jokes with his wonderful sense of humor and will miss him greatly.
With deepest sympathy,

There are very few teachers who leave a lasting impression but Mr. M was one of them. He was funny, caring and truly a pleasure. I remember being in his class, I always looked forward to going. I'm sure I'm not alone when I say he was one special man.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort. It is hard to imange what my experience at RHS would have been like without having Mr M for English. He engaged all of his students to reach for the stars.

Mr. Mashrick was such a presence at RHS and being Senior Class Advisor he worked really hard to make our last year special. But I don't think anyone will ever forget his famous imitation of “bacon cooking” and making all of us laugh often. His sense of humor made learning fun and interesting and I will never forget him for that. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family at this very sad time.
Miss you Mr. Mash :(

I met Ted just once, couple of month ago. We were introduced by my second cousin Silvia. I got the sence Ted was such a nice and humble guy.
I was looking forward to be his friend in the near future because Im moving to the Boston area in couple of week. I know, I lost the opportunity to know him better.

Mr. Mashrick was my favorite English teacher, being lucky to have him 2 years in a row. I will remember him for his wit and wisdom he added to our class every day. He also had a great gift of engaging his students in classics like Beuwolf and Main Street (books that otherwise would be a struggle to most teens). My heart goes out to his family and friends. I'm so glad he was a part of my high school years. ~Joyce (Rosenberg) Hunter, Class of 76' Methuen, MA

I will always remember his sense of humor and kindness, I always looked forward to attending his class. Anytime he read to us, whether it be Romeo & Juliette or poems he always did it with such feeling and emotion. He will be missed but always in my memory. My thoughts and prayers go out to you in your time of sorrow.
