Frederick Hiester Brooke Jr.

In New Bedford, December 16, 2002 of So. Nonquitt, Dartmouth, MA. Husband of Carolyn Chaffee Brooke. Father of Carolyn Brooke Andrews of Guilford, Conn., Gaelen Brooke Canning of Westport, MA and Frederick Hiester Brooke III of East Haddam, Conn., half brother of Francis McKee O'Brien of So. Nonquitt, also survived by six grandchildren. He was a graduate of Yale, serviced in the US NAVY during WWII as commissioned officer, was a business executive with Raytheon Co., an avid sailor and member of N.B. Yacht Club and New York Yacht Club and Cruising Club of America. A memorial service will take place on Monday Dec. 23rd at 2 P.M. in Seamen's Bethel, 15 Johnny Cake Hill, New Bedford.
