I had the pleasure of working with Bucky for 14 years at Northeast Document Conservation Center. Bucky was a very private person, but always friendly and receptive toward his coworkers. Staff eagerly awaited any deliveries from his prolific vegetable garden and nearly stampeded to get first pick on the special occasions he brought in samples of his gorgeous pottery. He was also an aficionado of gently-used but high-mileage Saabs that he was somehow able to gracefully nurse into old age. Those of us who knew him miss his gentle, reliable demeanor and dry sense of humor. Rest in peace Bucky.
