Sally, Sarah, J.W. and Bill,
Neill and Anita wrote to us about John's passing. We were shocked to hear of the loss of such a vibrant man, devoted husband and wonderful father. You will be in our prayers and those of our Episopal friends at Trinity Church in Sandy Hook, CT.

Sally, Sarah, and family,
Tyler told me the news after you had spoken to him. I am so sorry for you all and with the big event for Sarah coming up. Please know I am thinking of you, and have shared this with Jamie also. I lost your address recently or I would have sent you a personal note. I remember our days at USTA fondly. I am sorry for you loss.

John mentored and motivated so many of us when we were young analysts at First Boston. So sorry to lose his enthusiasm, wit and positive outlook. Our thoughts are with Sally and family.

John was a great source of encouragement when I joined First Boston 20 years ago and began the transition from newspaper reporter to analyst. He was a great mentor and storyteller and had a wonderful sense of humor about Wall Street. He will be missed.

Sally -
I am so saddened by your loss of John, as are all the members of LCC who knew and enjoyed a really fun guy, on and off the tennis courts. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I learned the most when I listened to John speak, share his experiences and ask questions. He will forever be missed by those of us lucky enough to work with him on behalf of Salve Regina. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

We will miss our periodic visits with John and family members in his whirlwind tour of Florida baseball spring training games and playing golf. One of the nicest, brightest and most engaging people I have known. A true loss to my whole family.
