I first met Paul during my first trip in USA in 1992. We got on well with each other and he kindly welcomed me in his home the following year. We did not see each other for 7 years. In 2000 he came to Paris and it was a great moment to see him again. Last time we saw each other was in summer 2003 during my last trip in USA. I was visiting Ann who I met thanks to Paul. Our friendship was maybe not the closest one because we live very far from each other but among lot of people who crossed my life till now, he will remain one I always remember of. Sometimes it happens you get on well with people and you don’t know why, it happens naturally. That’s what happened with Paul.
No bond is as great as that between a parent and child. My deepest condolences are with you as you grieve.
