PRISCILLA SEDDON Obituary

SEDDON, Priscilla N. (Tingey) Priscilla enjoyed a lifetime love of sailing and the sea. Age 87, June 16, 2025, passed, after a long illness of Alzheimer's, predeceased by her husband, James A. Seddon, of Hingham, MA. Born to Richard H. and Mildred Lundgren Tingey, of Merrymount Quincy, MA. She attended the Quincy Schools, graduating in 1955 and furthered her education at Wellesley College and the School of the MFA, Boston. Priscilla paused to raise a family while also focusing on youth instruction, natural gardening and semi-professional choral work. She resumed her studies at Tufts University/School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, graduating 1991, with a fifth year graduate degree. Priscilla's robust visual Artist career reflected a deep concern and connection with many of her interests through multi-medium sculptural and flat works. She leaves her sister, Florence Tracz; sister-in-law, Susan Tingey; daughters, Amy Leger, Sarah Jenner, Carroll Bourden, Alice Seddon; granddaughters, nieces and nephews. Priscilla will be remembered with a Memorial Service at a future date.

Priscilla's creativity and ready wit brightened many days when her daughters, Carroll and Alice, were classmates of my daughter, Allison. I remember her joyfully.
