Words cannot express the sadness we felt when we learned of Joey's passing. He was a wonderful person, father and a friend to so many. I have listened to so many great stories involving Joey and close friendships. I'm sure each and everyone of us who knew him, have that one special story that makes you laugh so hard that you could cry. God bless his mother, father, brother and children you are all in my prayers. It took an hour to know Joey, a day to love him and will take a lifetime to forget him. We miss you and love you.

I am not sure where to begin. I haven't seen Joe for quite a few years now and yet I didn't have to see him to know that he was there. Joey was once a very special part of my life and I will never for get him. My love goes out to the family for this great loss. Joey has a strong spirit and I know he will continue to live with us all forever.

I'm sorry I didn't keep in touch over the years, I was sad to hear of your passing and your sister as well. I always admired your strength Joey, it seemed as hard as times got I always saw you with a smile on your face. I will never forget those nights out at Legends when we would always get ourselves in trouble one way or another. God bless you, your memory will always be in my heart. You are with Kim now and the two of you can enjoy each others company for the rest of time.

I knew you from childhood, that makes about 28 years. You were like a little brother to me. I watched you play little league baseball and youth hockey. I watched your Masconomet hockey career culminate with an amazing goals scored record. You skated like the wind. I was always astonished how you made it all look so simple. You, me, Mike, and Paul were like the 4 Musketeers. All our nights out, bending our elbows and shooting billiards together will always be remembered. We laughed and cried together. In so many ways, I could look at you and see myself. I was so proud of your service to our country as a Marine and your integrity as a father. I admired your values. We were cut from the same tree, you and me. I feel like I've had a huge chunk of me ripped away. Joe, just as Frankie said, you did it your way, and I am damn proud of you. I will miss you more than mere words can explain. Your forever friend, eddie.
