This very sad news. I remember Larry from many years ago and he always impressed me as a brilliant artist, a very funny guy and a great person. A terrible loss.

I always expected Larry to remain in our lives. We always looked for Larry's take on world events and especially art world changes. He had an encyclopedic memory. He could recall every painting he had seen and remembered little details of my family.
His soft side came through in little ways. He gave my son a bunch of comic books when he was about 6 or 7. Such a nice gesture.

I met Larry when he visited my daughter Rebecca at our Pachaug Pond Connecticut cottage in the 80's. I was saddened to hear of Larry's death. His work was full of life's passion.

Being the same age, Larry and I shared many life moments since our childhood. I'm saddened that I've lost a close cousin and friend yet I'm heartened that I got to spend so much time with him the last several years since he moved back to Cambridge. Life passes by so rapidly, we're all just a memory in time. I'll always miss you and your uniqueness.
