My sincere condolences to Richie's family and all his friends.
I've known Richie since high school. We had many great memories over all those years. No matter how long it had been since I'd seen him, Richie always showed his friendship with a smile and a joke. Richie was a special person and will be missed. Rest in Peace my friend.

To All the Ryan Boys & Extended Family,

I grew up two houses down from my dear friend Richie.
We knew each other from the time we could walk.

One thing I will always remember as kids on Fairfield St. almost every night at dinner time you would see Richie running up Fairfield St. Usually running from his older brother Buddy.
He most likely angered his Mom or brother and wouldn't go back home for dinner, no matter how much Buddy yelled and chased him.
It was like a ritual almost every night.
I think back and I can see Buddy chasing him like it was yesterday. It was so funny.

We always kept in touch or went out to grab a bite to eat.
All the years that passed he never forgot our friendship, how fortunate I was to have such a life long friend.

Richie helped so many friends and friends children with any struggles they were going through. He truly was a loyal friend and man.

We spent a lot of time together this past year, so I want to tell you how saddened I am that he won't be around to make me laugh.
Every phone call ended with "God Bless You".

I love you Richie and will miss you beyond words.
"God Bless You" my friend, and may you RIP,

Friends Forever,
Linda DeLuca

Condolences to Richie's family and the many friends who loved him. Such a kind-hearted man who also had his unique way to make everyone laugh and feel special. Such great memories of fun times with him from many years ago will always include his boisterous, belly laugh and endearing thick Boston accent! I feel blessed to have briefly reconnected with him a couple of years ago while I was back in Boston and getting together with Dawn. R.I.P. Richie

Uncle Dickie- you were one of a kind that made a lasting impression on EVERYONE you met. Thank you for all the special memories. I will always cherish your effort and memories you created for my 3 kids (your brother Davey's grandkids). Every time we got together, they laughed a lot, ate meals on time (7am breakfast, noon lunch and 5pm dinner), danced a little, played cards, watched the kids play their favorite sports (no one was louder cheering them on ), but most important of all you exposed them to the Ryan brother charm always reminiscing with classic family stories and helped build an image of my dad that I will be forever grateful You always told me that you promised my Dad that you would be there for me and my family when he passed away- you went over the top and we thank you! Say hello to my Dad - RIP Uncle Dickie!

Tot all those who reached out to my brother Richie please know the family will be forever grateful. He could be trying at times but at his core Richie was a decent man who truly loved his family and friends. We remain assured that he has finally found that peace for which he had been so long searching. May his soul and all the souls of the faithfully departed Rest In Peace.
