I just found out that Miriam has left us. As the webmaster for a class of sailboat that her husband brought to us I documented the history of this boat in a book. Miriam was the custodian of Copy #1, and then donated it to the Mystic Seaport Museum Library. Our story is on the Dolphin 24 website http://dolphin24.org/Miriam_ODay_letter.html
We will miss her.

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of Miriam. I worked for John Leith at Taylor, Ganson & Perrin for 22 years. Mariam and I shared many wonderful conversations through the years. I was always amazed that she was still landscaping. She was a real sweetheart.

All the members of The Charles River Valley Garden Club will miss Miriam. She was so willing to share her gardening expertise with each and every one of us! She was always so positive about gardening, and she made it all sound so easy! Miriam was a delightful person, and we will always remember her. The club will be making a donation in her memory to Elm Bank at MA Horticultural Society in Dover. Gina White

Miriam directed our landscaping and gardening project when we bought our house in 1981. We still benefit and and admire her handiwork everyday! She was the Grand Dame of Natural Beauty!

Miriam taught me so much about gardening. Her sense of humor was wonderful and I treasured my many conversations with her about life. I will miss her and think of her each time I walk through my garden and view the many plants she gave me.
