KAREN SUE LEBOW

LEBOW, Karen Sue (formerly Wassman, Belsky) died unexpectedly in her home on December 11th in Shrewsbury, MA at the age of 58. Karen is survived by her mother, Claire of Canton, MA, children and their spouses, Rachel (Adam) of Retamim, IL, Alexander (Melissa) of Stoughton, MA & Michael (Kelsey) of Holliston, MA, siblings, Robin (Bob) of New Albany, OH & Eric of Hopkinton, MA, stepfather Arthur, and stepmother Judith, grandchildren Gavi, Desmond, Tzipporah, Rafael, Aria, Yaakov, Amaya, Shoshana & Julian. Through marriage, she is survived by 3 stepsiblings, 3 stepchildren, 4 stepgrandchildren, and a host of others she would show unending love and care for. She was preceded in death by her father, David. Karen was born on January 19th in Boston, MA to Claire and David. She grew up in Randolph, MA, and raised her children there later in life. In her happiest times, she worked as a Veterinary Technician, quenching her love for animals and her care for others. She was a passionate advocate for giving a dog a great home, being survived by her 1-year old puppy, Tali, whom she loved. Karen was extremely caring, loved all people, and if someone close to her was in need, would put her own needs to the side to help. Karen loved to talk to her friends and loved ones, spending hours gushing of her pride in her loved ones and their accomplishments. In life, she found her greatest sense of bliss at a beach, surrounded by those she loved. There will be a private service for close family only, with a virtual link to be shared on close family's social media accounts.
