Brett Flikkema Obituary
As he grew up, Brett loved to swim, play football, fish, the great outdoors, and photography. Brett had a very special place in his heart for children and animals. He valued his friendships deeply and was always an advocate for those who needed someone to stand up for them. He wanted the best for those around him and had a very tender, loving heart for his family. Brett was always willing and ready to help out in any way he was able to.
He is survived by his father, Everett Flikkema; mother, Tami Moe; sister, Heather Flikkema; grandma, Nene Flikkema; grandma, Marlene Gates; grandfather, Burton Moe; great-grandmother, Marie Hagen; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He will be deeply missed by everyone who loved him.
The service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 30, at Journey Church at the Commons, Baxter Lane and Love Lane.
Donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.

Though I hadn't talked to or seen you in years, your firmly planted in my memories of running around Tam-O-Shanter. I'll never forget your passion and flare. We had so much fun runnin' around as kids. You rest now, bud. Everett, Tami, Heather, my heart goes out to you guys.

I am the mom of Mike Kamm so I knew Brett when he was just a young boy. Paul and I were so sad to hear of his passing. Our prayers and thoughts are with all of you. We know that he is truly at peace with our Lord. Karen and Paul Dobrasz, Orondo, Wa.
