John was a fantastic artist. When I was in 5th grade he called me into the high school art class and he had one of my drawings. He went on to tell me I had a true talent. He gave me a large piece of paper to draw him a picture on. When I brought it back he called my father on the phone and said to him don't ever let me stop drawing as he saw my talent. My dad asked him how? He said I drew small and only in one small drawing on the corner of the page. He went on to teach me until he left Florence MT. He will be truly missed. God bless you John and your family. Heaven has a new artist! I kept on painting.
