A great friend to me and my brothers.

When I look back on the entire decade of the 70s, English is in almost all of my memories. He was the first friend I made when we moved to Bradenton and together we made many of the decisions--good, bad, and just plain stupid--that define adolescence.
We were together from the early days at St. Stephens through Sewanee. Although we had fallen out of touch, I grieve his loss deeply.
My heart goes out to Mr. and Mrs. Des Champs and to Seale at this sad time.

I will remember fondly him smoking cigar and philosophically talking at the kangaroo pub about Bradenton history and his serious laughs

We've just recently reconnected after a stupid argument many years ago, which seems so trivial now. I'll always remember my friend. May God bless you.

May the God of all comfort strengthen the entire family during this time of sorrow. God keeps in his memory those whom we loss because they are precious in his eyes. (Psalms 116:15)
My deepest sympathy
