Anthony "Tony" Biddle Walker, of Palmetto, FL, and Newnan, GA, passed away peacefully on September 4, 2017, after a brief and hard-fought battle with cancer.
Tony was 77 years of age, and was predeceased by his parents, and daughter, Kathy (Doug) Smith.
Survived by his beloved wife, Patricia Anne Walker, who took such very good care of him throughout his illness.
Loved and cherished father of Debbie (Jimmy) Jancsura, Amy (Dudley) Haralson, and Clark (Kelly) Walker. Tony also leaves precious grandchildren, Keri, Sarah, Emily, Jim, Robby, Haley, Rachel and Evie, as well as, seven great-grandchildren. Tony is survived by his loving younger brother, Timothy (Kathy) Walker, cousins and other relatives.
Tony also leaves two step-daughters, Rachel (Jeff) Scherwin, and Amanda (Chuck) McKee, and four loved step-grandchildren, Ellie, Ethan, Lia and Jemma.
Tony would not want us to grieve, but to remember the good times. He lived life to the fullest, and at his own pace.
Tony was born in Highland Park, Michigan in 1940. He graduated from Grosse Ile High School in 1958 and went on to earn a Degree in Engineering from University of Michigan. He was the owner of Clover Electronics, Inc., Newnan, GA, from 1981 to 2007. He was an avid boater, completing the Great American Loop in 2010, a former private pilot, and amateur radio buff (call letters, W8PWP). He was a member of the Bradenton Yacht Club, the American Great Loop Cruisers Association, former treasurer of the Bay Colony Property Owners' Association, a former member of Toastmasters, and a Newnan, GA investment club. Most of all, Tony loved to be on the water and spend time with friends and family.
The family would like to thank all of the kind and compassionate Tidewell Hospice staff for the care he received at home. We also thank Tidewell Hospice House staff for making his last days pain free and peaceful. Per Tony's wishes, a celebration of life will be held in Bradenton, FL and Newnan, GA at a later date.
