Dear Marcy, Amy, Julie, and Peter,
I am just feeling terrible that I have not written you all. I wrote cards but haven't found what I am certain are correct addresses for everyone. So, I apologize for this method of reaching you. Judith (my grandma) would have been embarrassed. It is a sign of the times.
I am sorry to hear about Jay. I hope you are doing okay.
My mom reminded me that without Jay my family would not be here - "Thank you Jay for being a matchmaker"
Also, I admired him for his professionalism and patience in dealing with certain family matters. I wouldn't wish that on anyone.
I wish we lived closer to each other so we could share more of our lives ups and downs. Just know that I am here in beautiful Mountain View, California. I have an extra bed and bath, and welcome you anytime.
Again I apologize for emailing.
Warmly,
Deborah

Lois and I are both so saddened by the news. Jay was always the one we went to in time of legal problems. He was the best. His common sense and legal ability were second to none. I will always remember when we moved to Alaska, he couldn't wait to get Bobs "knee action" bike. A wonderful man!

Mrs. Brett, Peter, Julie and Amy,
I am very sorry to hear about your Dad. He was such a great guy who always had a smile on his face every time I saw him. Whether it was talking about the swimming pool, politics or the law, he was a great conversationalist. I miss the many great times on Amherstdale and Colonial. You have my sincere condolences.

Jay volunteered countless hours for Cornell and he was an outstanding leader in the Buffalo area. He made a positive impact not just on Cornell, but on the lives of thousands of young men and women.
