Sending our prayers and blessings for the Termini family

To Mrs. Termini and Family.
I only just found out about Sals passing and I’m so very sorry for your loss.
Sal kept me entertained day in and day out at the JCC. We shared stories and jokes whenever we crossed paths and he would always stop and chat because As he said “I like that your voice is as big as you are” ...being 6’1” 350 you can imagine that he could always hear me loud and clear
He always gave me his own little tricks and tips to life that I will always hold dear to my heart!
“Motion is lotion
If you don’t move it, you lose it.
When you rest you rust!”
Sal was my buddy and always put a smile on my face even through my own ups and downs.
I missed his presence these last few months and he was never far from my thoughts hoping I would see him strolling through the J sooner then later. I am so happy for the time I did get with him on his last few visits before we closed down and I will miss him dearly.
You are all in my prayers, god bless and Cheers to one of the good ones!

To Mrs. Termini, Diane, Christine and my dear friend Tom; Please know how saddened I am for your loss. I'll never forget how as a family, you were always so kind and welcoming to me. In recalling the time long ago when we first met, I remember fondly how Mr. Termini always took the time to share a story, a memory from the past, or sometimes a piece of wisdom. Today, as I reflect upon this memory of him, I realize that what mattered even more than the actual story was that he made me feel important enough to relate it to. It's this rare quality that I'll remember most about him. I hope that the sorrow you feel today is replaced by the good memories of his life well-lived. My best to you all.

As good friends of Salvatore Termini's daughter, Diane (Termini) McSweeney, we had the privilege of meeting Mr Termini when he and Mrs. Termini visited San Francisco, and knew him as a sweet and humorous father to Diane. Please accept our condolences, sympathies and prayers on his passing.

A very friendly fellow with whom I shared the JCC's fitness facilities for many years. I and many others will miss him.

Sal was "Mr. JCC". Everyone at the gym knew him and listened to his many stories. He and I had a kinship in that we both worked for the Buffalo Board of Education and he would regularly regale me with stories of the days of yore. He knew everyone and typically had an anecdote to share. He prided himself on his family and his good health. Though I hadn't seen him in the months leading up to the pandemic, I had learned that he probably would not be returning. I suspect that he has found his many pals, arranged for a few good card games and taught an unsuspecting upstart the nuances of racketball - the game he loved. May his family be consoled by the memory of a man who loved life and willingly shared his with any who would listen.
