Hedi - What a lovely tribute to a life so well lived. My thoughts are with you and your family. I know that this is such a difficult time but I also know that the countless memories will eventually turn to what can only be described as happy sorrow. I take comfort in knowing that my mother has someone to write with. You were both such important people to her. Love, Gwen Carroll Farrell, [email protected]

I remember that you enjoyed skiing out to Alta Utah, with friends. My parents, Wyman and Grace Smith, started up a group of loyal skiers, to face the snow each year. And, have time for great meals and greater talks! Charlie, you and Hedi contributed toward many a fine conversation, and, with poetry! Love, Sarah Joslin of Jericho VT
