Robert Frechette Obituary

ROBERT J. FRECHETTE Essex Junction/South Hero - Robert John Frechette, age 69 of Essex Junction, Vt. passed away at his home, Sunday, Feb. 8, 2009. He was born Feb. 10, 1939 in Colchester, Vt. to Harlow and Eva Frechette. He grew up in South Hero, graduating from Milton High school in 1958 and went on to graduate from the University of Vermont in 1962 with a degree in Ag Engineering. He went on to get his Masters Degree in Ag Engineering from University of Massachusetts. He was a Vermont Master Mason, Past Master, and a 32nd degree member of the Scottish Rite. He is survived by his wife Barbara Hendricks Frechette; his children from his first marriage to Marcia Riley Frechette, John Frechette of Charlotte, N. C. and Elizabeth Belluardo of Sierra Vista, Ariz.; his siblings Janet Salters, Joyce Fifield, and Harlow Frechette, Jr. He is also survived by his step Children Jennifer Skipper of Plant City, Fla. and Kathy Briseno of Olympia, Wash. as well as five stepgrandchildren and one stepgreat-grandson. After several years as a successful insurance man, he went on to become a tax practitioner for the past 35 years in Vermont, Florida, and North Carolina. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Corbin & Palmer Funeral home, 9 Pleasant Street in Essex Junction where a Masonic funeral service will be performed. Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Essex Alliance Church. Robert Frechette was a loving father and husband.
