They say that it only takes one caring and supportive adult to make a difference in a young person's life- Mr.B was that one person in my life. He was there for me from the moment I made that first squeaky noise on my violin, through middle school band, to marching at Disney, and finally to the day I went off to college to study music and play clarinet (which he had devoted countless extra hours to teaching me in later years). He saw talents in all of his students, that we couldn't even see in ourselves at that young age. He was an incredible musician, but he was an even more amazing educator. I owe so much of who I am to his teaching and guidance. After I graduated from moniteau (and he retired from there) I had the pleasure of completing some of my college teaching observations with him at Holy Sepulcher. One of my fondest memories was seeing him sitting in rocking chair, surrounded by small elementary kids while they all sang songs together and clapped in rhythm. It was different from when I had seen him as a band director. All of the little kids were completely absorbed (almost hypnotized) into the music with him- it reminded me of the famous painting of Jesus surrounded by the children. He was truly an angel on earth and I hope he enjoys his wings in heaven knowing that his legacy will never die- it keeps living in the heart of every child whose life he has touched.

My deepest condolences to the Badali family. I will always remember Mr. B. for his kindness, knowledge and never-ending patience as my clarinet instructor during my elementary school years. I'm positive that he's now making beautiful music with the Angels!

He was such a kind man, sensitive to an elementary student's needs. Both my husband at Karns City and me at Moniteau fondly remember him as our music director and are glad to have known him. Prayers to his family.

Augie was well loved, respected and big hearted. His kindness, ability to make everyone welcome and quirky wit will be missed. Our friendship was much too short but memories will be long-lived. Thoughts and prayers are with his wife and family.

I was a student of Mr Badali early in his teaching acrreer at Karns City. He was a no nonsense teacher with one thing in mind and, that was to teach music to not so great musicians like myself. I am glad to have known him and had him as my teacher. I have gone on to other things in life and have traveled extensively but he always remained. I told my son just this year a story about him which was enjoyable. For Mr Badli's family I am sorry for the loss of your loved one.

What a wonderful man. He instilled perfection and inspiration to each of his students. My relationship carried on after high school while I cared for his parents and witnessed what a loving son he was as well. Rest in peace Mr. B. Forever in our hearts.

Sending fond memories from California. Thanks Mr. B, for all of your support over the years. I have memories of driving up snow-covered hills sideways to band festivals & marching in numerous parades that always seemed to be freezing or wet or both. Your interest in your students went far beyond music, and you helped to mold them into well-rounded people. You touched thousands of lives, and we are grateful. Now Rest In Peace.
