Barb always put the patient & her nurses first. She educated the administrators in how our objectives could fit with the patient in the center of the circle. Rest In Peace.

Barbara pioneered/championed the recognition of nurses as educated and critical members of the healthcare team. We all owe her thanks for her unwavering support and contribution to Nursing as a respected profession.

Barb was a high school friend. I believe we played basketball together when in junior high. I always missed hearing from her when we had 1958 high school graduation reunions. She had a wonderful career and wish I had known about it prior to an obituary.
