David Himes Obituary
David was born on June 25, 1967, in Altoona.
David was a graduate of Bellwood Antis High School.
He served his country in the U.S. Army.
He was the owner of Green Valley Nursery and Deer Tenders.
He was Catholic by faith.
David was a fun-loving person, who always had a smile on his face.
He will be sorely missed by his sidekick, Cloe; she would not let him out of her sight. Cloe was taught best by his Dalmatian, Sadie.
David is survived by his mother, Betty (Hough) Himes of Mount Pleasant; his father, Dennis R. Himes Sr. and his wife, Sue, of Altoona; one sister, Lori (Craig) Taylor of Altoona; one brother, Dennis R. Himes Jr. of Mount Pleasant; one stepbrother, Donny Carnell of Sinking Valley; three nephews; two nieces; four great-nieces; and four great-nephews.
HIMES - Visitation for David Lee Himes, who died Thursday, March 18, 2021, will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, March 21, 2021, at William F. Young Funeral Home, 132 Main St., West Sunbury.
Additional visitation will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Monday at Good's Funeral Parlor, 517 South Cambria St., Bellwood, Pa., with funeral services to follow.
Burial will be in Blair Memorial Park, Bellwood, Pa.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of the donor's choice in David's memory.

We are truly sadden by the loss of Dave. He was a good friend to everyone and was always there when you needed him. He always had a story to tell and told it with a smile on his face. Miss you buddy. Rest in Peace.
