Aaron Elijah Himes, a cherished son, brother, and uncle, passed away on January 13, 2026, at the age of 39, at the Hospice Compassionate Care Center. Born on January 8, 1987, Aaron's life was a testament to the strength and resilience of the human spirit, as he navigated life with grace and determination.
Despite the challenges he faced, Aaron's love for his family was the cornerstone of his life. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Elijah Himes and Shannon Himes; his maternal grandparents, Richard and Denise Brown; and his stepfather, Jerry Combs. Aaron's memory will be forever cherished by his devoted parents, Doug Himes and Tracy (Jim) Brown Thompson. His presence will also be deeply missed by his loving siblings, Bethany Kay (Donald) Perry and Brett Himes, as well as his adored niece, Elaina Perry, who brought immense joy to his life.
Aaron's journey was marked by his unwavering courage and the warmth of his smile, which could light up any room. His ability to maintain a positive outlook, despite the adversities he faced, inspired all who knew him.
