Rose Marie Herrell

Rose Marie Wagers Herrell, age 73, of Kingston passed away March 1, 2026, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born February 25, 1953 in Berea, Kentucky and moved to Roane County in 1974 at the age of 21 and went to work as a cook at Handee Burger in Kingston, where she met the love of her life, Ronnie Herrell. Rose later worked in the cafeteria of Cherokee Middle School as a cook. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren. She was of the Baptist faith. Preceded in death by her loving husband of 48 years, Ronald Gene Herrell; parents, Ottis & Della Gray Wagers; sisters, Anna Lee Marshall, Mona Faye Ladota, and Lilliemae Kirkland; brothers, Alfred Wagers, Stafford Wagers, Clifford Wagers, and Billy Ray Wagers.

The family will receive friends 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm, Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at Fraker Funeral Home with funeral service following at 1:00 p.m., with Bro. Bobby Herrell presiding.
