Linda K. Herrell

Linda Kay Herrell, age 72, of Tecumseh, MI, passed away on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at Trinity Health Ann Arbor Hospital. She was born on February 18, 1953 in Tecumseh, MI, the daughter of the late Orbin and Lucille (Yeary) Herrell. After graduating high school, Linda entered the banking field and worked over forty years in the accounting department at United Bank and Trust, retiring in 2014.

Linda was a lifelong member of Tecumseh Missionary Baptist Church. She was extremely talented in crafting and sewing. She enjoyed making greeting cards and diamond paintings, and loved quilting and cross stitching.

Linda is survived by her sister, Christene (David) Willis of Tecumseh, MI; her two nieces, Kayla (Ronnie) Young of Nashville, TN and Andrea (Andrew) Kyle of Johnson City, TN; her nephew, Trevor (Maddie Vansaw) Willis of Tecumseh, MI; three great-nephews, Onnie and Sam Young, both of Nashville, TN, and Aven Kyle of Johnson City, TN; and a very good friend, Ed Solarski. In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her brother, Frank Herrell and her sister, Judy Ann Herrell.

Private graveside services for Linda will take place at Lenawee Hills Memorial Gardens in Tecumseh, MI. A Celebration of Life for her will take place at 12:00 pm on Saturday, April 25, 2026 at Tecumseh Missionary Baptist Church, with visitation beginning at 10:30 am and continuing until the time of Celebration. A luncheon at the church will follow. The family would ask that memorial contributions in her honor be directed to either Hospice of Lenawee or to the National Brain Tumor Society
