We've known Rob for 9 yrs. Such a caring, loving compassionate person. Even with his burdens, he always put others before himself. I'm sorry that his life ended so early. One thing is for certain..he will be TRULY MISSED by all who knew him. The world would be a much better place with more people like him!! Rest in peace, Rob. We love you.

To Rob's Family and Friends,

I had planned to attend Rob's funeral today but at the last minute something came up which prevented me from attending. I always work at the church on Fridays and Rob would be there almost every week to help put the bulletin together or just give someone an "extra hand". He was always so willing to help wherever he was needed.

He was always so nice and very polite. He would always ask how I was doing and if I had any new stories about our little grandsons. I loved his great smile and loved to hear him laugh.

When I would leave on Fridays, if he saw me getting ready to leave, he would always say to me "Here Erma, let me get the door for you and then end it by saying "Have a nice week-end. The past four weeks I have missed Rob being there not opening the door for me to go home. Friday, when I left I just felt so sad because this great guy with such a warm personality is no longer with us.

We, at First Church will miss him but now all his worries are over as he is with our Lord and Savior in a better place. Please accept my sympathy.

Sincerely,
Erma Robinson

You would give your shirt off your back to help a friend or person in need. May God bless you and your family in this time of devastating loss of an awesome man. Dan Jewell and family.

Rob was a very special person in my life. He always greeted me at the church with a warm smile and a hug. When I called upon him to volunteer and offer his many talents and God-given gifts, he never hesitated a moment ... just said, "Yes, wherever you can use me."

Rob will always hold a special place in my heart. He now rests in the loving arms of his Lord and Savior.

May you be comforted by God's love.

I was sad to hear of this recent loss Its been awhile since I last saw you, you stopped to talk and greeted me with open arms. may you rest in peace..This one's for you He's not lost god gave him a smile and welcomed him to a familiar land one that is much more warm and fair then the last time he lingered there and though for his familiar voice you yearn and everyday you wish for his return he is home at last comforted by the love of every angel in heaven above he sheds no tears for the path he has trod for he has found everlasting warmth beauty and comfort for the hand of god HE'S NOT LOST...AMY MONTINI

I was Rob's first floor neighbor. I didn't know him well, I can't count myself as one of his friends but we were friendly neighbors. I am going to miss his comings and goings, his cheery "Hi Judi" when we met in the hall or outside. Rob cut the grass of two large yards to help out our landlord who is elderly. One day, we shared the beauty, grace, and power of a hawk that had landed with it's prey on the garage roof out back. Together, we watched in awe as it took flight and soared up over the houses with a mouse clenched tightly in it's talons. I am truly going to miss "the guy on the third floor". He was a good man and, like the hawk, soars the heavens.
