Barry SCOTT Obituary
Barry passed away at Peter Lougheed Centre on March 24, 2017, in Calgary, Alberta at the age of 72 surrounded by his wife of 46 years Doreen (nee Bowditch) and their three sons and daughter-in-law; Todd (Lisa), Dean and Chad. Barry was born December 27, 1944, in Souris, Manitoba and also leaves behind his granddaughter, Kaitlyn and brothers Ron (Marilynn) of Summerland, Tom (Gail) of Cranbrook, Dan of Calgary and his nieces and nephews. Barry worked 33 years at the ERCB/EUB with the drafting team. Barry requested no funeral. The family would like to request that as you read this you remember your favorite memory of Barry and smile. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Kidney Foundation of Canada. Many thanks to the Peter Lougheed Center unit 58 nursing staff and doctors, and the PD clinic at Sheldon Chumir for their generous care and concern for Barry's welfare. In living memory of Barry Scott, a tree will be planted at Fish Creek Provincial Park.

I will always remember how me and my grandpa (Barry) used to make pancakes shaped as the first letter of our names (K & B). I got a tattoo in his honour. He will always be the best grandpa out there

Barry, I will miss you. We worked together from 1980 - 1985 and I found you to be a great department manager and friend.

Sorry to hear of Barry's passing. I too worked for OGCB/ERCB/EUB and our paths crossed throughout the years. He was the go to person in his different roles - cheerful and helpful.
