Victor beloved husband of Caterina Caracciolo (nee Perrotta) of Calgary, AB, passed away on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at the age of 80 years at his most happy place, Mercato. Victor is survived by his loving wife, Caterina; daughter, Franca (Peter) Bellusci; two sons, Dominic Caracciolo and Robert (Kristen) Caracciolo; and his grandchildren, Alessia (Robert) Williams, Michael Bellusci, Max and Isabella Caracciolo, Madeline and William Caracciolo. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary's Cathedral (219 - 18th Avenue S.W.) on Monday, October 30, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Reception to follow at the Carriage House Inn (9030 Macleod Trail South S.W.). Victor would love you to share a memory, and of course some vino. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com. If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to the Libin Cardiovascular Institute, 3330 Hospital Drive N.W., Calgary, AB, www. libin.ucalgary.ca/donate. In living memory of Vittorio Caracciolo, a tree will be planted at Fish Creek Provincial Park.

Cathy, Franca and the family, my deepest felt condolences on the loss of your beloved Victor. It is a profound loss to the entire community and those who knew Victor and benefited from his generosity and warmth over the years. I don't think I ever left either of your stores without a bag full of gifts of food from Cathy and Victor, and that was over decades of knowing you. I will never forget him and it is a privilege to call your family my friends.

Our families lived close by each other in Bridgeland for years and our late father Drago used to be a loyal customer at the original Italian supermarket buying his wine grapes from Vittorio annually! We have such fond memories of those wonderful days in that neighbourhood! Vittorio was a pillar in the community and will be fondly remembered by many!
