MACKIE _ Bliss Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on January 14, 2004 at the age of 60. Ever remembered by his loving children, Morgan, Mackenzie, Hunter and Keely; their mother Sharin; his beloved mother Tim; brothers, Bill (Tone), Bob (Gaye), Jamie (Heather), Tim (Jann) and their families. Bliss was a gentle, peace-loving soul whose loss is also mourned by many family and friends. He was predeceased by his father Bill in 2003. Bliss enjoyed a successful musical career beginning in the local folk scene. Along with three of his buddies, he helped form the North Country Singers who evolved into The Original Caste. They performed internationally earning two gold records. Though his career spanned the sixties and seventies, music was in his soul, a love much enjoyed by his family and a talent passed on to his children. "Wind was blowing, time stood still, eagle flew out of the night." We love you dad. Bliss spent many years in sales and had been with Renfrew Chrysler Jeep for many years. A Celebration of Bliss' life will be held at The Royal Canadian Legion, 116 - 7 Avenue S.E. at 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 19, 2004. Donations in lieu of flowers to a charity of choice.
