JASSMAN _ Elsie Elsie Jassman (nee Siewert) of Three Hills, passed away peacefully on January 13, 2005 at the age of 85 years in the Three Hills Health Care Centre. Elsie was born in Mendham, Saskatchewan and in 1937 she married her beloved husband, Ted. In 1944, they moved to Three Hills where they raised their three sons. Elsie was a faithful member of Bethel Evangelical Missionary Church until her move into the Golden Hills Lodge this past April. Elsie enjoyed her daily coffee visits with her many friends and watching hockey and curling on TV. She also took a great deal of pride in her yard and garden. Elsie will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Marvin (Louise) of Ferintosh, Melvin (Arla) of Calgary and Dennis of Three Hills; eight grandchildren, Gail (Rob) Stoddart, Rodney Jassman, Derek Jassman, Russell (Selena) Jassman, Wendy (Randy) Fugelsang, Brian (Judy) Jassman, Nela Hiebert, Amanda (Marcus) Bykowski; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sisters, Freida (Ray) Eberhart, Tillie Hubele, Hilda Flemmer, Violet (Lawrence) Liepert and Kay (Chester) Nielson; one brother Henry Siewert; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ray (Viola), Alix (Jackie), Jay and Tilley Siewert. She was predeceased by her husband Ted; brothers, Alvin, Jake, Fred Siewert; brother-in-law Bob; and sisters-in-law, Betty Siewert and Lydia Elgie. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, January 17, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. in the Bethel Evangelical Missionary Church, Three Hills with Harold Hunter officiating. Interment to follow in the Three Hills Cemetery. Memorial tributes may be made directly to the charity of choice. As a tribute to Elsie Jassman, a tree will be planted in the Heartland Tree Memorial Park, Olds. HEARTLAND FUNERAL SERVICES LTD., Olds, entrusted with arrangements. Phone: 1-403-507-8610.
