He will be missed by his family, friends, and colleagues and will be remembered for the contributions he made to the benefit of all Albertans. A celebration of Harold's life will be held at the Snowbird Chalet in Bragg Creek, Alberta on Sunday, July 12, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, No. 200, 325 Manning Road N.E., Calgary, AB T2E 2P5. My husband, Craig Reid and Harold were longtime colleagues on the Kananaskis Improvement District Board. Sadly, Craig passed away on May 3, 2009 but I know he would want me to express condolences on your loss and to tell you in what high regard Craig held Harold.
Sincerely,

Deepest condolences. So sorry to lose this old friend of 53 years. We had some good times at Honolulu Oil in the 50's. Will always remember the great fishing and back-packing in Banff -- especially Chephren Lake. We became neighbors in Bragg Creek in 1972.
