I am so sad John is no longer in our lives. He was a wonderful neighbor and very proud of his 2 daughters. I will so miss our chats while shoveling snow and doing yard work. My deepest condolences to Janet, Emma and Kate.

I got to know John through our mutual love of the music of XTC. (I live just across the border in Montana.) John was a kind, thoughtful, intelligent and incredibly funny man. I'm so sorry for your loss, and our loss.

I am deeply sadden by the lost of John. I wish I had known how great an artist and a great person he was before yesterday when I found a Website where his paintings were displayed.
I am paying homage to John through this article on my blog.

My heartfelt sympathies go out to the family and friends during this difficult time. I hope that the promise in 1 Thessalonians 4:14 can bring comfort. Knowing that there is a hope for the ones we have lost in death can be so reassuring.

My deepest condolences to John's family. You are in my thoughts at this sad time. John was one of the funniest, most decent people I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. John, you were a shining star, and you will be missed.

Please accept our deepest sympathies on the passing of John. I first met John when his family moved to Majestic Crescent in Abbotsford. We attended the same elementary, junior and senior high schools. John was always kind, thoughtful and happy. May God comfort you and your family during this time of sadness and grief. I am so sorry for your loss. Leslie Smyth (nee Frego) and family.

John is dearly missed. It has been an honour and a pleasure to have known (if even only through internet) this kind, thoughtful and very talented man. He always had a kind word for others, encouraging them and showing that he cared. My deepest condolences to his family and all his loved ones.
