It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Margaret (Marg) on Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at the age of 75 years. Marg was born and raised in Medicine Hat, Alberta. She married Delmar Campbell in November of 1953 and had two children, Donna and Delbert. Following Delmar's passing in November of 1961, Marg married Leonard Fitzhenry in July of 1964. Marg and Leonard moved to Calgary in 1965 and had two more children, Dawn and Darcy. Marg was first and foremost a wife, mom and grandma. She was very close to, and greatly loved by, all of her children and grandchildren who considered her to be "the rock of the family" - always strong and there for everyone. Marg also enjoyed her co- workers and position with the Calgary Board of Education where she worked for many years. She loved spending time with her family and friends celebrating occasions and holidays as well as, doing many other activities including dancing, bowling, exercise and travelling to sunny destinations. Marg will be very sadly missed but will live on forever in our hearts and memories. Marg is survived by her children Donna, Delbert, Dawn (Joe) and Darcy (Suzanne); grandchildren Bridget, Brandon (Vanessa), Jessie, Nicky, Jennifer (Dan), Myles and Cameron; great-grandchildren Jerod, Josh, Shalacia and Kitiara; brother Roland (Shirley) and many other family and friends. Marg was predeceased by her father Peter, mother Molly, brother Herb, husband Delmar and husband Leonard. A Memorial Service will be held at CALGARY CREMATORIUM CHAPEL, 3219 - 4 Street N.W., (within the valley of Queen's Park Cemetery) on Saturday, December 10, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.hffs.com .
