I regret not being aware of Rhoda's passing. Rhoda was an amazing lady, and friend. Her support and encouragement were so appreciated when I returned to teaching in Calgary.
Sincerest condolences to the family and close friends of a
very special lady. Love, Arlene and Deb Witherspoon

I have happy memories of days in Calgary with Rhoda, Emma Plattor and Bernie (Isomura). They all contributed to my own professional journey with generous support. I was most fortunate to have spent so much time with them.

Rhoda was a very inspirational educational model for us as inspiring young teachers. She was always willing to talk to you about your and her personal life issues openly and honestly.
Her sense of humor. her positive and professional attitude, her love for education , children and the arts was phenomenal and she was a large influence in the roads chose to travel in our careers. Having her as a neighbor in Canmore and Having traveled to New Zealand with her added a whole new dimension to our lives, where we saw how she enjoyed the wilderness and serenity of her cabin and the uniqueness of another country.
Rhoda, you were one of a kind, a real gem. God Bless You. Rest In Peace
Love,

What a wonderful warm, bright, professional model and friend Rhoda was. I will never forget her great sense of humour and her laugh is with us all daily. For those who were at UES when we were there, you might remember the club we started. Hilarious memories. Rest in peace my friend!
