It was my great honor to work with Ed during my years in solo practice. He was the perfect colleague: smart, well-prepared, and appreciative of good work. He was a man of great character. Working with Ed was one of the few things I missed when I took my current job. My condolences to his family. The glowing obituary is consistent with my friendship with Ed and he will surely be missed.

Ed and I met when we were young lawyers in Corpus Christi and remain friends for more than 50 years. Although we had not seen each other for a long time, we were always close friends. My sincere condolences to his family. Rest in peace, dear friend. Ronnie
