Jenny Fleming Obituary

Jenny Fleming

Corpus Christi - Jenny Fleming, 62, died peacefully on April 14, 2021 at her sister's home with her beloved dog, Bandit, keeping watch on the bed with her. She is preceded in death by her parents, Sylvia Herro and Sam Herro, and brother George Allen Herro. She is survived by son Rickey Fleming Jr (Kris) and daughter Jaime Noyola (Eric) and grandchildren Angelica Bialczak, Elijah Fleming, Audry Fleming, and Kaylah Fleming. She also leaves behind sisters Sammie Grunwald and Rachel Herro, brothers David Herro, Richard Truitt, and Joey Herro (Catherine), and several nieces and nephews including Hannah Grunwald and Madison Herro who helped care for her in the end.

Jenny was an avid gardener and beachcomber. She could grow a beautiful plant from the tiniest clipping, a talent she nurtured all her life and shared with her mother and beloved grandmother, Mama Nash. Her favorite place was the beach, gathering shells and building bonfires. She adored her grandchildren and was fiercely loyal and helpful to her many friends.

Her family will plan a celebration of her life for later this summer. In honor of her incredible green thumb and lifelong love of gardening, memorial donations are suggested for the South Texas Botanical Gardens.
