Jennifer Powell Campbell

39, of Wadsworth was called home to be with the Lord on December 18, 2017. Jennifer was born in Akron, Ohio on February 25, 1978.

She was preceded in death by Oliver and Ilene Bloom, John and Anna Powell, and her father David. Jennifer is survived by her mother Valerie Powell of Clinton, Ohio, sisters Kande (Jeff) Greene and Allison (Tom) Foust; niece and nephew, Shelby and Nathan Greene; her aunt Florence (Powell) Thur, and loving husband Ben Campbell.

Jennifer loved the beach, especially Outer Banks, polar bears, and her beloved college sorority Zeta Tau Alpha. Jennifer also had a love of English mastiffs and rescued three and gave a loving home to them. Jennifer had many friends that loved her dearly. She shined in the area of party planning, tech support, and organization. She planned and organized her sister's wedding this past June. She had a love of sharpies, which she shared with her Dad. Jen planned her own wedding and married Ben Campbell on July 28, 2001.

She was an active member of Zeta Tau Alpha (ZTA) at Ohio Northern University where she graduated with honors with her BS in Chemistry and Physics. She remained active with Youngstown University's chapter of ZTA, where she was currently a general advisor. In 2016, she earned her MA in Organizational Leadership from Malone University. Jennifer was a member of NAMI (National Alliance for Mental Illness) in Stark County, where she was president of the board from years 2013 through 2015.

On Jen's request, there will be no calling hours or funeral. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made on a national level to Zeta Tau Alpha Foundation.
