Vernon Statesir Obituary

Vernon A. Statesir Jr.

Age 78, of Louisville passed away Saturday May 29, 2021, in Aultman Compassionate Care. He was born November 15, 1942, in Freehold, N.J. to the late Vernon and Esther (Wolfersberger) Statesir Sr. Vernon was a Canton area resident since 1967 and was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church. He retired from Kempthorn Motors in 1995 after 28 years of service.

He is preceded in death by one sister, Nancy Burns; one brother, Robert M. Statesir; infant brother, Peter Statesir. Vernon is survived by his wife, Suzanne F. (Bellinski) to whom he was married 43 years; one son, Timothy Statesir; granddaughter, Eliza Statesir; sister-in-law, Mary Statesir.

A celebration of life service will be Friday June 4, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. in Otterbein United Methodist Church with Rev. Matthew Garrabrant officiating. Friends and family will be received one hour before services at the church on Friday (1-2 p.m.). In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Otterbein United Methodist Church at 6025 Shepler Church Rd., Navarre, OH 44662. Condolences or fond memories may be shared online at
