John Gardner Obituary

STOUGHTON - John J. Gardner, a World War II veteran, formerly of Newton, died on Sept. 23, 2007.

He was the beloved husband of the late Frances (Albert) Gardner; devoted father of Eliot Gardner of Maryland, Alan Gardner of Dennisport, and Robert Gardner and his wife, Nancy, of Harwich; dear grandfather of Joshua B. Gardner, Lyndsay and Lauren Gardner; and loving brother of the late Arnold Gardner and Ada Goldfine. He was also lovingly survived by nieces and nephews.

Services will be private.

Memorial observance will be omitted.

Remembrances may be made to the Juvenile Arthritis Foundation, 29 Crafts Street, Newton, MA 02460.

Arrangements are by the Brezniak-Rodman-Levine-Briss Funeral Directors, Newton.
