Melvin Elliott Obituary
Mr. Elliott was born in New York City, and lived in Roslyn, N.Y., from 1949-1957; New Canaan, Conn., from 1957-1960; Bedford, N.Y., from 1960-1980; and in Brewster from 1980 to the present.
He worked as a radio broadcaster and newscaster for the New York Times Station, WQXR, in New York City. He retired in 1979.
He enjoyed fishing, photography, computers, hand printing, classical music, and woodworking.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his children, Paul Elliott and Karen Broderick.
Services will be private. Arrangements are by the Nickerson Funeral Home, Orleans, 508-255-0259.
