I was saddened to learn about Paul's increasing health problems and his recent passing. He deserved much better. I remember him as a straight shooter, a consciencious shipping dept. manager who always tried to do the right thing. Most of the time, he wore his characteristic bright smile, and many times he went beyond his duties to help out when needed. My sympathy goes out to his family, particularly Rita, who took care of him during this last year.

My cousin Paul was one of the kindest, funniest people East of the Rockies.

Paul and my late brother Charlie loved the outdoors, and hunting and fishing. Perhaps, now that "the cuzzins" have been reunited, they are getting in on that "Loaves-and-Fishes" gig!

The entire Flanagan clan is much the poorer for the loss of Paul.

I'm so sorry to hear of Paul's passing. My condolences to you Rita and the rest of the family. I have many fond memories of Paul when we both worked at MBL. He made us welcome to jam with our guitars at lunch hour in the shipping area and the session was never complete until he heard "Lawdy Miss Clawdy". Paul, when I play that song, I'll be thinking of you.

Be Still

Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.

Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.

If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.
