Dear Charlene,

I have been thinking of you all day since I read of your mom's passing. When we would visit she was always so sweet, talkative and interested in all we had been doing. I was just describing her spaghetti sauce to a friend the other day - still one of the best I have ever tasted.
You are in our thoughts and prayers, Char.
Love, Jodi, Jim, Caitlin, James, Nicholas and Elianna

Dearest Mary Beth and Peter and the entire Reid family,
Your Mom was an incredible woman and showed so much strength over her lifetime. She had many health challenges that she faced with determination and fortitude. And she made the best tuna sandwich I ever had!!
I loved coming to your home in Lenox when we were kids and smelling her wonderful cooking and listening to her words of wisdom, inspiring integrity in all of us. Keeping us on the right track was no easy task! She will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her dearly. We're all the richer for having her as a big part of our lives.

Love to you all,
Sally

Aunt Sylvia touched many lives, but she especially touched mine. While I was at Rutgers University, she would send me a Valentines card every year, I never knew why, but it always lifted my spirits, and got me through the tough times.
