Ann Marie Roache

HARWICH — Ann Marie Roache, a native of Springfield, died at the Epoch Senior Health Center at Harwich. She was 72 years of age. She leaves her beloved sister, Sister Margaret Roache, SFCC, director of Creation Center of Cape Cod in West Dennis, and several cousins from the Springfield area, Ohio and California. A graduate of Cathedral High School in Springfield, Ann received her B.A. in sociology and education from Elms College in Chicopee. She was a primary teacher at the former Westover Air Force Base School and Holy Cross School of Chicopee and Springfield, respectively. Daughter of the late Bernard F. and Anne (Sullivan) Roache of 20 Pennsylvania Ave., Springfield, she was an active worker for the Ahearn Pilgrimage Foundation to St. Anne's Canada.

Ann Marie will be waked on Tuesday (today) from 4 to 6 and 7 to 8 p.m. at Doane, Beal & Ames Funeral Home on Route 28 in West Harwich. There will be a liturgical celebration for Ann Marie on Wednesday, June 18, at 11 a.m. at the Epoch Senior Health Care Center at Harwich. Burial will be private in St. Mary's Cemetery in Westfield. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Epoch Senior Living Center, 111 Headwaters Drive, Harwich, MA 02645.
