Catherine Collucci Obituary
Cathy married John Collucci on Oct. 6, 1963. Shortly thereafter, they moved to Cape Cod to start their own family. Together they raised four sons: Jack, Rocco, Tony, and Jimmy. Jack married Trish, Tony married Alana, and Jimmy married Theresa. They all went on to give Cathy and John seven grandchildren: Katie, Vicki, Alisha, Nicole, Dominic, Vincent, and Rocky-Joe.
She is survived by her husband, John, of more than 46 years, all of her children and grandchildren, her sisters Rose and Marie, and her brother Dominic.
Studying to be a pastry chef, Cathy became, in 1963, one of the first women graduates of the Culinary Institute of America.
Cathy was a devout Catholic, spreading the love of our Lord to everyone she touched.
She spent most of her time doting over her grandchildren and enjoyed cooking for family gatherings, where all of her children, family, and friends felt welcomed and loved. Cathy also cherished spending time in the garden with her grandchildren and anyone else she could get to dig in the dirt.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation service being held at John-Lawrence Funeral Home, 3778 Falmouth Road (Route 28), Marstons Mills, from 4 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, April 1. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, April 2, at 10 a.m., in St. Francis Xavier Church, South Street, Hyannis. Donations in her memory can be made to Children's Hospital Boston, Children's Hospital Trust, 1 Autumn St., #731, Boston, MA 02215-5301.

Russ and I were so sorry to learn of your wife's passing. We first met Cathy at our last BHS reunion and remember her sweet warm personality and how proud she was of her sons. We send our deepest sympathies to you and your family.

Dear John & Family,
So sorry to hear about Cathy. I know that she had been fighting the good fight for quite a while. Now she can rest in His arms and be at peace. We offer our prayers for you, John and all the family. May those who have signed this guest book bring all of you some extra strength for the days ahead.

I am deeply sorry for your loss. I will miss her a great deal. I wish I could be there with you to share your sorrow. We had some great times together. Cathy was an inspiration to us all. let us never forget those pushes down the laundry chute, to watching you play cards with our parents & those unforgettable pizza making nights. Our greatest joy was knowing you not only as kids, but the smile you gave to us adults. We will miss you, but always hold you close in memory. Dear Jack, Rocco, and family, my deepest sympathy on the passing of your mother. I remember when I would stop by for lunch at your diner , your mother and father would often be there. They were always surrounded by family and friends, and the laughter was almost non-stop. It felt more like the Collucci family kitchen and not your average diner. You guys were very lucky to have such a wonderful lady as your mother, as she was a very lucky to be surrounded by close family like you.
