MASHPEE — Judy Lynn (McGrath) Mottolese, 65, entered into her eternal rest on Sunday, Nov. 25, 2007, in Mashpee.

Born on June 28, 1942, in Estherville, Iowa, she was the daughter of the late James H. and Evelyn R. (McNally) McGrath. Judy resided for the last four years with her beloved husband, Frank V. Mottolese, in Monument Beach.

Prior to moving to Cape Cod, she had been a 27-year resident of Enfield, Conn., and prior to Enfield had resided in Albany, N.Y. Judy was a graduate of Colonie Central High School, class of 1960. She retired as a manager from SNET in 1998 after 22 years of employment.

She was an AARP tax counselor and local coordinator for the Upper Cape, and served on the board of directors for the Bourne Council of Aging.

Judy had a special love for gardening, kayaking, and loved spending time near the ocean. She enjoyed playing racquetball and was an avid runner for more than 30 years. She spent many happy times and hours surrounded by family and dear friends.

Besides her husband, Frank, Judy is survived by her son, Frank J. Mottolese and his wife, Aileen, of Somers, Conn., and her daughter, Cyndi Mottolese of Norwalk, Conn.; four grandchildren, Nicholas, Anthony, and Marissa Mottolese and Samantha Carriero, as well as many dear friends.
