To Mary and all of Laurel's family:
You will be in my thought and prayers during this very sad, difficult time. Laurel was one of the most remarkable, talented, insightful people I knew. I'm so grateful to have been her friend through our high school years.
God bless, and Laurel - I know you're watching down on us all.

My deepest sympathies to the entire family. Laurel was so creative, funny, and someone I looked up to in high school. Although many years have passed since then, she has remained part of some of my favorite memories.

Please know how sad I am to read of Laurel's passing. Though many years have passed, I have so many wonderful memories of Laurel, and our school days- she was funny, charming and always the best listener. She was a very special person and will live on in the wonderful memories that so many of us hold dear. With my deepest sympathy for all of you and your loss-Linda (Buck) Johnson

My first introduction to Laurel was in the early 90's when we worked together at Cabot. I was always amazed at her incredible, energy, enthusiasm and love that she brought to everything she did. As luck would have it, I had the good fortune of working with Laurel again at Ingalls. It has been some years since I have seen Laurel but she is someone who impacted my life in a very positive way and I will never forget her. Please accept my deepest condolences.

Hello, My name is Doug McKenna & I went to D-Y high school with Laurel & remember her as being a very warm, thoughtful, expressive & simply good person.... I had my 'troubles' then [didn't/don't we all?] & Laurel often gave some sort of positive 'response' which I always appreciated, even if I was too 'pulled in' to show it.... I sincerely thank her for that & honestly wish I had got to know her better....
My Mom passed away yesterday & is listed on the same obit page as Laurel [Frances McKenna] & that's how I've come to learn of her passing....
I am truly sorry for our mutual loss but truly 'touched' to have been of my Mom & loved & respected her & to have known such a decent person as Laurel....
Warmth To Us All,
Doug McKenna

Mary,
I'm so very sorry for your loss. Laurel was always a fun & funny person. The last time I saw her was at the 20 year D-Y reunion. Heaven now has an angel to make them smile.

Mary,
Laurel and I met as young kids in Dennisport. She had a striking talent for someone so young. She was special and although I never kept in touch with her, I never forgot her and never will. She was a great kid. I'm sorry for your loss.

Mary-
Our deepest sympathies to you on your enormous loss.
I remember year after year, watching you and Laurel golf to support my late brother-in-law's memory; I was always impressed by your tenacious support of the fund, and by yours and Laurel's warmth and sincere kindness.
I will be praying for you - every single day. I hope God's healing strength is with you as you work now to rebuild your life and recover from this poignant heartache.
God bless you -
