BURLINGTON, Vt. — Margaret Cassidy O'Gorman, 87, of Burlington, and formerly of Boston and Sandwich, died Saturday, Nov. 8, 2008, in Burlington.

A retired case worker for Family Services Association of Greater Boston, she was the widow of Samuel F. O'Gorman; daughter of the late John T. and Frances Ellen (Brady) Cassidy; sister of the late Grace Locke, Florence Thabault and Amy Poirier.

Mrs. O'Gorman is lovingly survived by several nieces and nephews.

A memorial Mass will be celebrated in St. Joseph's Church, 68 Cardinal O'Connell Way, Boston, at a later date. Burial will be private at St. Peter's Cemetery, Sandwich.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be sent to a charity of one's choice.

In loving memory of Aunt Margaret O'Gorman a donation will be made to the Little Sisters of the Poor in Denver. Barbara and Patrick Cassidy, son of John A. Cassidy, will not be able to attend any of the services, but we will continue to pray for all family members and aunt Margaret.
