FALMOUTH — Marian Gannon Silvey passed away Saturday, July 12, 2008 at Falmouth Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Roland J. Silvey.

Marian, formerly of Falmouth, resided in Cataumet with her daughter Jeanne Holland and son-in-law Thomas Holland. She is also survived by her children, Richard J. Silvey of Pittsburgh, and Ronald Silvey of Glastonbury, Conn., nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son John W. Silvey.

Marian cherished the time spent with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 16, 2008 in St. John the Evangelist Church, 841 Shore Road, Pocasset. The burial will follow at St. Anthony's Cemetery in East Falmouth. The visiting hours will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, July 15, in the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 74 Algonquin Ave., (Route 151) Mashpee.
