Serafin Nudo

1936 - 2021

Serafin "Jerry" Nudo, 84, a resident of Edgewater, MD and a previous 15 year resident of Centreville, MD passed away on February 5, 2021. He was born on September 3, 1936 in Pasig, Philippines to the late Benito and Maria Nudo. Jerry was a retired illustrator for the DC Department of Transportation. In addition to his profession as an artist, he was a professional tennis racket stringer. He enjoyed playing golf, watching tennis, and spending time with his family. In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by his wife, Theresa in 2017. He is survived by his children, Lisa (Stephen) Mellynchuk of Edgewater, MD and Erik (Elizabeth) Nudo of Laurel, MD; siblings, Philip Nudo of Reston, VA, Robert Nudo of Riverdale, MD and Herminia Nudo of Baltimore, MD; grandchildren, Vanessa, Olivia, Dominic and Hannah. Friends and family are invited to celebrate Jerry's life on Saturday, February 13, 2021 from 1 to 3 pm at the Kalas Funeral Home and Crematory, 2973 Solomons Island Rd, Edgewater, MD 21037.
