I met Art in 98, when I came to work at the shop. Right then I knew this office was going to be fun and exciting. His humor and willingness to help folks was boundless.
He was the consummate craftsmen, with great attention to detail, and ways to create things with limited resources. He always created his projects to last. His favorite motto was, “If it’s not overbuilt, it’s not Green built.”
I was saddened to hear of his passing. He was a great man, with a heart of gold.
My deepest sympathies go out to his family.

A great picture of a great Guy!!! I worked with Art for many years, he was very talented, creative, devoted and hard working. There was never a job that he wouldn’t take on and exceed expectations. If there was anything he couldn’t do I don’t know what that would be. Everyone got along with Art, he always had a smile and was fun loving. There are people you meet in life that contribute so much to your life and are such a joy to be around - Art was one of those people!!! Art accomplished and seen so much in his lifetime - you could said his was a life well lived. I feel very blessed to have known him, and as Bob Hope would say “Thanks for the memories”

I had the wonderful opportunity to meet Art at his home, where his wonderful wife Judy was hosting a get together for the "golf bunch". Art had prepared a delicious gazpacho with shrimp and shared the recipe. Most outstanding for me was when he went inside the home and came back with a duck, yes, a duck!!! and he made that duck turn his head at the most surprising moment just to startle and laugh. ok a fake duck
What a wonderful time and I know that he is having fun in heaven, while we grieve on earth. Many hugs Judy and kids.

Beautifully written for an amazing man. We met "Mr. Green" when we moved to the neighborhood in 2007. Over the years he became a dear friend - he insisted we call him Art! He was always there to lend a helping hand or share a joke. We loved spending time with Art and Judy at our local spot or having brunch/dinner at their home. Always a welcoming smile, our friends quickly became their friends. Oh and those glistening eyes shined through especially when he dressed as Santa - he loved spreading the holiday cheer to everyone he met!

What an amazing, welcoming, active community member Art was! I will forever remember his sense of humor, his helpful spirit, and his bigger than life personality. He surely has impacted so very many.

Art was a wonderful, funny, and generous man, still remember when he helped us put up trim for our windows. Bonus he made us a cute bird house that still hangs in our front tree. He will be missed by all but especially by his family who are all in our thoughts and prayers.

Oh my, Art was one-of-a-kind. I had the pleasure of working with him, and the owner of one of his illustrations "Thomas Point Lighthouse". It hangs in my computer room so I look at it on many occasions, and always thought of Art. He called me after receiving my Anniversary card. I will always treasure that conversation. I left in 1995 so he had a little trouble remembering exactly who I was but after a few memories, it all came back! So sorry for your loss. He was loved by many.
